ARLO TRAVEL NOTES — WENGEN, SWITZERLAND
Perched high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Wengen is the kind of place that feels almost imagined. A quiet mountain village where mornings begin with crisp alpine air and evenings are spent watching the surrounding peaks shift from blue to gold to soft shades of pink as the sun disappears behind the mountains.

There is a stillness to Wengen that is increasingly rare. No cars, no rush, just winding streets lined with timber chalets, flower-filled balconies and the gentle rhythm of mountain life. Days unfold slowly here — long walks through alpine meadows, train journeys that climb impossibly high into the mountains, lingering lunches on sun-drenched terraces and waterfalls tumbling down distant cliffs.
For our founder Sophia, Wengen was a reminder of the beauty found in slowing down. A few days spent walking, exploring and simply taking in the landscape felt worlds away from everyday life.

A POSTCARD FROM WENGEN
A few days of spring mountain air, alpine walks and beautiful waterfalls. Slow lunches, quiet mornings and watching the light move across the peaks.
Switzerland feels impossibly beautiful in a way that almost doesn't look real — quiet villages, old timber chalets, trains disappearing into the mountains and sunsets that turn everything gold.
One of those places that stays with you long after you've left.
