Postcard from Candidasa
A few days on Bali’s east coast.
Slow mornings, coastal drives, and nowhere we really needed to be.

Most afternoons were spent between beach warungs, fresh fruit, and long lunches by the ocean. Grilled fish, cold drinks, salty skin, and the sound of the water in the background all day. We found little spots along the coastline that felt untouched and quiet in the best way.
One day turned into hours by the pool at Alila Manggis, watching the mountains disappear into the clouds while the ocean stayed completely still. Another afternoon was spent getting beach massages until sunset without checking the time once.

We wandered through the quiet streets of Candidasa, drove through East Bali with no real plan, and stopped whenever something looked beautiful. The kind of trip that reminds you how good it feels to slow down for a minute.
The sky turned from blue to gold to pink every evening, and somehow every sunset looked different from the last.
