Mornings with Arielle, from Thyme and Caramel
9:00AM
The morning begins with Arielle from Thyme and Caramel, dressed in the Gabrielle dress. The studio is quiet, untouched, and grounded in a calm that carries through her entire process. She moves instinctively — measuring, layering, refining. Each cake takes shape without being rushed. It’s focused, but never rigid. These early hours feel personal, where everything starts with intention.
11:00AM
By mid-morning, Arielle changes into the black brown set as she begins setting up Café Thyme and Caramel. The space shifts. Light moves in, the café comes to life, and everything finds its place — from cakes on display to the smallest details across the counter. She transitions seamlessly from creator to host, holding the same steady energy throughout. Nothing feels staged, it simply unfolds.
1:00PM
In the early afternoon, she changes into the matcha stripe set. The pace softens. With the café now open and moving, she takes a moment. A matcha in hand, a slice of cake fresh from the counter. It’s quiet and simple.
A pause that completes the rhythm of the morning.
A Quick Conversation with Arielle What inspires your cakes?
flowers and organic forms. The way flowers grow, fold, and exist imperfectly translates into the details of how our cake canvas unfold.
How do you balance creating and running the café?
honest answer is i’m learning, these days i spend mornings at the studio checking on our cakes, and afternoons at the cafe. then there are wedding cake creating days where that becomes priority above others.

What’s your favorite part of the process?
Staying in touch with being creative and every artistic possibility, whether through cake designing, cafe rnd, content making, or making sure my schedules look colourful
What does your ideal morning look like?
I take my mornings slower than my afternoons lol. gym/pilates first, quick chat with my team, a perfectly whisked iced matcha, and first meal by 1pm
Your go-to order at Café Thyme and Caramel?
Iced Matcha Latte & Strawberry Almond toast for breakfast.
