For Arielle, founder of Thyme & Caramel, that journey began long before wedding cakes and celebrations. As a child, she spent summers learning to sculpt miniature figurines from modelling clay, drawn to the simple joy of creating something with her hands. Looking back, she never imagined those same techniques would one day shape the work she is now known for.
Founded in 2016, Thyme & Caramel has grown from making birthday cakes into one of Bali's most recognisable cake studios, creating sculptural cakes for weddings and life's most meaningful occasions. Earlier this year, the brand opened its first physical store, offering guests a space to slow down over cake and desserts while experiencing the world of Thyme & Caramel beyond celebrations.

"I was just fascinated to make things with my hands that could bring people joy," she tells us—a thought that has remained unchanged since childhood.
